Researchers at Loughborough University believe they've found a way to help consumers indulge less. Following analysis of 14 studies, they discovered that a certain type of labelling could cut out at least 200 surplus calories from the average person's daily intake. The packaging involved listing how much exercise would need to be done to burn off the calories consumed, from four hours walking for the calories in a pizza to 22 minutes of running for a chocolate bar.
